Esther Owen, Substitute Teacher
Esther is in her forth year at Discovery Island teaching 3 and 4 years olds for the past two
years.  Upon the birth of her second child Ms. Esther chose to move to a substitute teacher
position to allow her more time with her own 2 children.  To Ms. Esther it is the best of both
worlds to have time at home and to continue to work with all the different ages at Discovery
Island.  During her
4 years with the Center she has taken over 40 hours of training to help her
excel at being a top pre-school teacher.  She is also returning to college to complete her
degree in Elementary Education.
